Stabilization and Short Term Intensive Residential Program
The Addition Recovery Center (ARC) is a short-term intensive residential treatment program for adults. The average length of stay is typically 28 days. The primary goal of the program is to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve a stable recovery. Addiction is a biopsychosocial disorder that impacts all aspects of a person’s life and functioning. Program components include intensive group therapy, lectures, meditation, art therapy, stress management, emotion regulation skill development, psychodrama, relapse prevention skills, aftercare planning, and trauma stabilization work. There is an intensive family component on weekends. Each client works closely with a counselor in order to facilitate the development and completion of an individualized treatment plan. Once the client has been safely stabilized, program staff facilitate movement to the next appropriate level.
